Good Samaritan Council 6175

Bingo is our primary charitable fund raising activity.  As co-chairman, this Knight attends bingo weekly for a six-hour period.  He also spends many hours during the rest of the week with Bingo planning, organizing, set-up and administrative work.  His wife not only agrees with his prioritizing his time this way, she supports him by volunteering herself, frequently during the same time period her husband works.  Their young, well-behaved children assist where possible and their presence is warmly accepted by players and workers alike.  This entire family participates as a team to the benefit of our council and they make a highly significant contribution toward increasing our monetary support to charity.  They exemplify all the good things about the Knights of Columbus, and abide by our principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism.   Congratulations to the Knights of Columbus Good Samaritan Council Family of the year, the Lyons, Will, Karen, William, Joseph and Jacob.
